Evolution of Dance in a Lifetime

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Micah Sherman for over a decade now. We've written and produced sketches with fellow comedian, Joe List for our comedy group, Funny Cakes. We've co-produced a comedy album, Lampshades and Ottomans. And recently he's had me edit his mocumentary short, The Marriage Pact, and his feature length documentary, Like Me.  We've also started putting the finishing touches on our second comedy album, John Rodgers: Idiot, which we hope to release soon.

Micah, a brilliant actor/improviser/comedian, has created several successful shows at the PIT theater, one of them being the Old School Sketch Comedy Show. Each show, the cast has a week to construct a 30-40 minute sketch show. I've been a part of it twice now and both times it's been exhausting yet fulfilling. It's amazing to see how much material you and a group of your peers can pull together when under a tight deadline.

On Tuesday, March 3, The Old School Sketch Comedy Show celebrated its one year anniversary and to help promote the show I worked with Micah, Alyssa Lott, Jerry Emeka, SlaneyRose Jordan, and  shot and edited this sketch, based on one of the sketches from an earlier show.
